The Alan Reinstein Ban Asbestos Now Act of 2016 S.3427 was introduced to the Senate on September 28, 2016. Supported by Senator Barbara Boxer, this bill was read and referred to the Committee on Environment and Public Works. Its purpose is to amend the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) to potentially have asbestos banned in the United States.
